Note on water body naming. Delightful Florida Recreation, LLC uses “Gulf of America,” the current U.S. federal name for this body of water under Executive Order 14172 (Jan 20, 2025) and U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary’s Order 3423 (Feb 7, 2025), which directed the U.S. Board on Geographic Names to update the Geographic Names Information System accordingly. The underlying OpenStreetMap base map is maintained by an international volunteer community and may still display the prior label “Gulf of Mexico” at wider zoom levels.
