Three numbers, and we will not blur them. Never let scope imply charted, and never let charted imply verified. Wherever any one of the three is quoted, the other two appear beside it. The table below is the third tier only — the water somebody has actually stood in.
This is what exists today, not a projection. Every figure below is a count of work already done. Add the columns up and they come to the totals above — the headline numbers are calculated from the table, not asserted next to it. The map is headed for every navigable waterway in Florida; this page covers only the part of it we have stood in.

2. The gap, stated plainly
46% verified means 733 records are not. 103 of the 1354 records — every one of them on the Suwannee Sound — are collected but unverified. It carries no marker on the coverage map, because plotting a point we have not confirmed would imply field work that has not happened. It stays in the count so the total is honest, and it will not be built until somebody drives out there.
3. What the words mean
